Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome back & welcome new commers.
This will be my son's 2nd D.
He came home for a week but is back now. We tried our best to spoil him his entire visit.
He'll get to see more family next month. Hopefully they get Port leave.
Looking forward for all our support this D too!
It made it easier the 1st time.

This will be my son's 2nd deployment both with the Cape last time he got hurt and had to come back early hopefully he makes it through this one and we will be there when he comes back.  He will be reenlisting while they are in Hawaii.  The Cape's Ombudsman is also on Facebook.

Hi girls. It's my son's second deployment with the Cape. This group helps a lot. It will be hard on our boys and us, but together we can make it. Last time Ombudsman senr e-mails monthly to tell us what's goung on on the Cape and she can answer all your questions. Definitely  get on her e-mail list and make sure it's working. It took me a few tries.
