I know this was kinda asked before, but I wanted to ask a few more questions about it. The other day my husband took some kind of test to be accepted into the FMF/RECON program. He passed the phyical test and is now working out with them every morning. He said he has to keep his grades up to be able to stay with that program. Does anyone have any information on what happens now? I'm just sooo confused! My husband says (and he is guessing because he hasn't asked the officers yet) that he'll be going to camp pendleton for the FMF training (of course if he passes and such) and then would go on to camp lejeune for about a year for another school. I was wondering if anyone went through this with their kids/spouces? Does anyone know the lengh of the schools? or how quickly they get to start each school one after the next? He just started the A-school this week so we'll have to wait and see how far he gets in that other stuff.
Thanks for any help anyone has!

dds, first of all, I'd post this question down in the main thread if I were you, many moms never see this discussion area or even know it's here.
There are links above this discussion area to both the east and west coast FMF training. Take a close look at those.
And always use google! there's someone out there that's always done this before us! http://usmilitary.about.com/library/milinfo/navynec/blhm8427.htm
If he enters that program, he'll be a very busy man, a lot of school and training goes into that program from the little I just read about it.
Welcome! and good luck!
