OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Events

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Just thought of another question. Does anyone know about how long it would be after arriving at A school a sailor would get liberty? We live a few hours away from his assigned A school and was wondering if we would be able to take his siblings to see him for a weekend shortly after he arrived at school.

Do any moms have suggestions of what their sailor can have or might want to have at A school i.e., lap top, storage bins for personal items, clothing? Just curious if there are things I should be collecting for after PIR.

Is this group still active?  My daughter leaves for bc in Dec and then off to CTT school in Feb.  I have a million questions.  I would love to know how your sons/daughters acclimated to Navy life, Florida, CTT school, just anything that might help give me a picture of her future.  Thank you.

My son is a CTM and completed A school at Corry Station about a year ago. He first went to NAS there in Pensacola for an introductory course.
