Events

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Does anyone have an idea of how long the Top Secret clearance takes to actually get?  My son is in boot camp now.  He will be headed to Pensacola as CTR Feb 11th.  I was wondering if he has to actually have the clearance before he can start class.

You should roll this group into the

Cryptology ~ CTI ~ CTM ~ CTN ~ CTR ~ CTT ~ Corry Station Pensacola ... page so there would be only two groups to check for info. There is way more activity there and more info.

HI there.. my son is going on week 2 at A school in Pens. for CT. So far he is enjoying the freedom and can't wait to wear regular clothes. Getting ready to send him a box. :)

Pamela - my son is a CTR at Corry.  We were just there this past week.  It is pretty ghetto but my son is really happy!  Pensacola is really nice - we liked it there.  Now that my son has his vehicle, he will be able to get out and about more and the guys can really do some different things - they will like that!

My son was there about 3 weeks before he classed up.  Hope that helps.  He isn't coming home for the 4th since he is in the choir and they have some performances this weekend.

Hi there, I'm new to this group.  My son just got to Corry Station about 2 weeks ago.  He is CTR.  He's waiting to class up.  Hopefully it doesn't take all that long.  But, from what he's heard it might.  Does anybody know how long it normally takes a CTR to class up?  He wants to come and visit if he can for a few days, but is afraid to take the risk of coming and missing out on classing up.  So far he likes it.  We sent his x-box, tv etc.  So, he's pretty well set.  He's a major gamer, so hopefully he doesn't get too bored!  LOL!

My son says the barracks at Corry are ghetto. NAS is beautiful but Corry is just a bunch of buildings. He has been at Corry since the beginning of March and is really enjoying his time there. Enjoys his rate.

PeggyM how long was your daughter at NAS before moving to Corry? How are the barracks there compared to NAS?? My son is also CTT and still waiting just to start ATT school. He left Great Lakes 5/29.

My son/grandson (we adopted him) just arrived at Pensacola yesterday.  HIs PIR was Oct 8 and he was attending school at Great Lakes as an ET but transferred to Pensacola.  I cannot remember what he said his rate is and don't know when school starts.  Looking forward to hearing information abouth this base and the program.
