Last look seems to be 135 on the 17th 18th and 19th going out coming back the 22nd 135 or stay to 26th 186 coming back
b2pooh- that's awesome! Only 3 days with my son though??? oh, boy. This is stressful stuff. I saved the page to my favorites. It figures his break just happens to coincide with a very popular holiday and the fares go sky high right around that tiime. I will make this a PT job for myself... thank you for your help!!
Found several flights for 135 each way leaving on the 18th returning on the 22nd for DCA and IAD airports as departure BWI was 271 but if those other two airports can work you could save 280 per round trip ticket for each member of your family GOOD LUCK
My son has a break the entire week before Memorial w/e. so my dates are flexible. I could fly anytime from May 17th to May 28. We don't even have to stay 7 days. I just would like to be able to see him while he is on break b/c every other day of his life he is overwhelmed with homework and studying. I'm setting up the fare tracker on Travelocity and expedia and watching fares on AirTran!! This is like a FT job! hahahaa.
KC's Mom what are your dates you are trying to fly out there?
Tried flexible dates from Wash area airports to San fran and got 135 and 185 for a few flights late March
Try when booking using the Airtran flexible dates part on Airtran my airfare went from 368 to 171 with 171 being non stop HA this was Atlanta to San Fran. Using flexible dates on their site gives many more flights to choose from than just putting the dates directly in Mon, Tue, and Wed looked the least expensive in traveling as well
Debbie- I just went on Airtran's website. The lowest fare they have is $271 each way. That's even with 1 stop. I guess it's not going to get any better than that. That's $2200 for our family ( I still have to young kids ). Plus the car and hotel..... it just sucks. But, I did notice I could possible choose 'bill me later' and have 6 months to pay it off. I might have to go with that. His mid-year break is in May and I would love to get out there.
KC mom you need to get out there ASAP! It is so beautiful.... Well at least KC is having fun this weekend =) hopefully he is keeping up with his studies while on the trip!
Florida girl- that is awesome!! So happy for you! and jealous, too!!!
Laurie- way to go navy mom! woot woot!
I'm so jealous today b/c my son went on a road trip with his friend and his friend's dad to San Jose. This same dad, who was so nice to take my son in for Thanksgiving Dinner.... is spending 3 whole days with my boy!! So jealous. All of his closest friends are from California and spending time with their families this 3 days w/e. Me???? I'm on the other side of the United States! Ugh.
