Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone on this site. Thank you all for your support and information. I greatly appreciate it as I celebrate the holidays with my son prior to him reporting on the 30th to Monterey.
I find the help I've received here invaluable. Bless all of you!
Doc Renee
@Tx Thanks and again, best to you and your family!
@Noni While it has been many more years than I want to admit since I was there, Monterey is a beautiful town. Enjoy your visit.
And to all CTI families: all the best for a terrific holiday and great New Year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. We are very blessed and fortunate to have our SR home as most of you know.
For those of you who do not have your SR's home, we are most definitely keeping ALL the SR's and their families in prayer for peace, understanding and most of all our God's blessings. May this holiday season not be one of emptiness and sorrow, but of thanksgiving and praise that your SR's are where they want to be. Being excellent representatives and protectors of our great nation.
Our nation has the strongest military in the world.
A force of VOLUNTEER DEFENDERS!!!
We have mighty warrior man and women that stand firm and say...
"Sleep well. No harm will befall you on MY watch!"
You just don't get any stronger than that.
Thank you to all our past, present and future defenders for protecting us all.
God Bless you all!!
To all the wonderful CTI Family's and their Sailors, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
My daughter gets home from Monterey at 1am Friday Morning. It's the first time we have seen her since BC PIR on 6/8/12..... We cannot wait to have her home!
Add my name to the list of moms doing the "happy dance." My guy arrives SOOOOON for Christmas leave. It's the last time we'll see him until graduation. His time in Monterey is flying by for me. I'll bet it's dragging for him.
2 days until we are Monterey bound! Suitcases are out, clothes getting packed & gifts tucked inside. Big stuff already shipped. Can't wait to get my hands on my "boy", his lovely wife & our 2 beautiful granddaughters!!! Merry Christmas, everyone!

Thank you very much. Will most definitely stay in touch and keep y'all updated and will be back for sure.
When we picked him up from the airport last night, he looked so good and was so glad to see us as we were him. We were waiting for him at the exit from the concourse to the main terminal by security.
We saw him coming to the exit and my daughter ran towards him and literally jumped into his arms and the rest is beautiful family history. Happy tears were flowing.
My wife asked him one question about bootcamp and boy, the stories that followed for almost 3hrs straight were great. We stopped by his grandparents house on the way home from the airport (his grandfather is ex navy from 1950-1954) who had no clue he was home yet. This was a HUGE surprise for them. Anyway, he is still asleep, now at 825am, resting VERY comfortably and will get up when he is good and ready. No revile in this house!!
Buttermilk pancakes, bacon and OJ are on the menu this morning. YUM!
A HUGE Thank You to everyone for your prayers, words of wisdom and just being a true family. You guys are the best!
Happy Holidays to all from Texas.
We are keeping everyone in our prayers as always.
She is soo sweet! Enjoy TxNavydad.
