Plus once in a while they get to call as a reward for accomplishing a group goal.

Relax, Ducky. (I know....easy for me to say, right?)  It's more probable she was calling for information for her security clearance.  I think the two-and-half, three-week point is when my son called home for that information.

Thank you TXNavyDad,  My SR's timing is similar.  She arrived 11/27, I am sick with worry.  I haven't heard back from her.  Just hoping that no news is good news.

@Ducky... My son had been in bc for 2 weeks when they sent him to ship 5. He arrived at bc on Nov.20th, then to ship5 on Dec. 3rd.
Hopefully your missed call was not for that reason. Please keep us updated.

We all care very much in here and are here for you if you need support.

TXNavyDad,

How long was you son in BC before the paperwork problem came up?  My SR is scheduled for CTI as well, but she called last night and I wasn't available to pick up.  I'm hoping that she is not running into a similar problem, she has been there 2 1/2 weeks.

TxNavyDad - I am so glad to hear this news, I have been thinking of and praying for your family!  My son just landed in Chicago to start boot camp and will hopefully be in Ca sometime in mid/late Feb.

I told my wife that what each of us (wife, daughter and me) needs to do is, go to the store and find a very special stick on bow, special to each of us. Then on Christmas morning, when my son wakes up to open presents, we all go to him and put our bows on him and tell him that he is our best Christmas present EVER!!

(Pass out the Kleenex ;D)

::::UPDATE:::: WOOOHOOO!!!

Just chatted briefly with our son on FB. He got to see legal yesterday and found out what the problem is. His college transcripts were unofficial and so he had to put on his paperwork high school grad even though he had college credits. They told him he can reenlist in 6 months, but MUST have his OFFICIAL college transcripts. Seems to me that his recruiter should have known this, but what do I know.

He said that legal told him he should be home in time for Christmas. He said that he should know more about his departure time next week sometime.

WOOOHOOO!!!!!

When Johnny comes marching home... HURRAH HURRAH....

Thanks to everyone for all your prayers and support. You all are truly the family we never had, but now are so blessed to have. Thank again everyone!!

NYRican924-thanks for the info. Is it a regular twin or the longer twins like they have in college dorms?
