While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My Son did have a car, it was a good thing ... the base is far from everything and it's much safer for them to drive than walk to the beach and to town. Just remind him that a ticket for speeding or any infraction off base would get him kicked out…Continue

Hello all, I know this is a Navy for Moms site but i have been visiting this site for a while and find it very useful. I just enlisted 2 weeks ago as a CTN and will be leaving in May. I have a few friends in the Navy now and a few a work with that are former enlisted and got me very excited about the whole process. Hope to get to know everyone and hope everyone has a great day.

Craig, I'm not Matt...he is up in Maryland still. I was the CTN Model Manager (now called Rating Manager). I am Fred Luke, former CTO converted to CTN. I am now one of many instructors for the CTN school here at Corry.

Hello all...I find all these post very interesting. I am a retired CTN (hence the username) currently working at Corry Station. I have been retired since 2006, and I have been working on Corry every since. I was involved (as many were) with the establishment of the CTN rating back in 2004, and worked my last 3 years as the CTN rating manager at Corry Station before retiring as a CTNCS. I now work as a contract instructor with the CTN school here at Corry Station (officially called the Joint Cyber Analysis Course or JCAC). I'll try to get on here in between classes to check up on the discussions. Feel free to send me any comments directly to my account if you don't want something posted for all to see.

Haven't been on in awhile. Fed guy showed up yesterday afternoon doing the security clearance. Ironically, our son was home on leave and left yesterday morning to drive down to Pensacola. Will move over to Corry Station later this week. Hope his class starts soon.
