Hello All and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I hadn't seen a group formed yet for our ship, so I thought I would start one (Ship 02, Div 911 - USS Reuben James (PIR Feb 4, 2011)) so we all can be in touch! We have a special connection with band, choir, and drill team!  It will be great to share our experiences, stories and plans to meet up for PIR in Feb!  I'm a new Navy mom, and missing my daughter greatly right about now (as I am sure we all are missing our loved ones!), but am so very proud.  Let's chat!

Hey Doreen!  Let's all pray for clear weather that week!  ;o)  I just booked mine and my son's flights over this past weekend ... the only airport I did not want a connection through was Atlanta ... guess which one I got?!  And it was that airport that was closed due to weather yesterday morning! Oy!  Had me worrying just a bit, but let's just say the "freeze" happened this week to clear the way for us in Feb! ;o)
WOOHOO!  More 911'ers!  LOVE IT.  Welcome to the crazy ship lol  Cannot wait to meet everyone and see our sailors!
