Nathansmom-- Hi, i  just want to let you know that there is another mom with a son in your div. ( actually a couple). They dont comment that much on the boards, but they seem very nice. Friendly. One is from Hawaii and only keeps in contact thru PM. She is very nervous about coming to the states. She was heartbroken over her son being gone but now that she has heard from him, she feels much better. (just like the rest of us). Im thinking that since they arent on much, ( i think they do FB), that they havent seen your discussion. Just wanted to let you know that you are not the only one.:)))) And the other has just joined recently.

If they ask, do you want me to give them your screenname? I dont give screennames out, just in case the others dont want contacted, that is why i am asking. I havent mentioned your name to them yet.

Hi Nathan's mom.  I have also been looking for someone in Division 062.  Don't seem to be to many on here.  What did your son sign up for in the Navy for a job?

ok first off I admit I am not a mom Im a dad But I find more info here on navy for moms that navy for dads  I have a son

on Ship 11 and Div 62  He is MA

Yay! terry268- Glad to hear from you. We are getting ready for PIR and I have been trying to meet others in our division. Hope to hear more from you soon. Will you be at the M&G at the Ramada on the thursday before PIR?
Yes his mom and I will be at M&G on thursday  I sure his mom would like to attend  We are flying in on Wednesday into Milwaukee
glm31461-

Sure don't seem like there is many of us on here. I am glad to hear from you. Our son's job changed so many times before he left, but I think the one they settled on was where he would be working on the ships engine???? or something like that. Will you be going to PIR? if so will you be going to the M&G at the Ramada on the thursday before PIR?

Yes, I will be going to the PIR and also the meet and greet with my son who is returning from Bahrain for his

brothers graduation.  I am glad to see there are others from this ship and Division.  Both my sons are MA's.

Sof from Boot camp to San Antonio, TX for A school.

potsie lee- Hello, and thank you for letting me know. Please do give them my screenname, It would just be nice to contact someone in our division. I wish I could contact the mom from Hawaii, maybey chatting with someone will ease her a little. I know we are all exited about PIR and seeing our sailor...My son called last week and I know that made a world of diference in how I felt and how worried about him being at GL.

Again, Thank you.

I also agree if there were contact with the mom from Hawaii would ease her travel.

I have two trips to GL to make We have the one with PIR on the 4th and I have another one that ships out to GL for his BC on the 7th     The second one is HM   One that is MA and the other HM  Yes we are proud of OUR sailors
And I thought it was rough loosing one son one year and the other the next, but having them both leave within 3 months of of each other has to be super tough.   Prayers are with you.   and yes, very proud of my Sailors.

Sorry everyone--I left a message up  here for this division and for some reason i thought this discussion was started by Nathansmom. Sorry mamabear, i didnt your name as creator of this . There are several discussions started on this div. and i thought they were all started by the same person.lol sorry, i was confused.

Any way...I am SO glad you guys found each other !!!. I kept seeing one or two of you guys on the board and i wanted to guide you to each other, but didnt know if you wanted me too.  YAYYYYYY!!!

I cant wait to meet everyone at PIR, Hope to see you at the M&G as well. I added mor info under the discussion board about that.

When you guys decide on a color, let me know so i can post it so that any new members will see it. Thanks . Get to know each other. Im so HAPPY.
