Hello all

I haven't been on N4M's in quite awhile but figured with the upcoming deployment, I would get on and check if there was a group for my son's ship.  I also just requested to join the FB group.  My son has been on the ship for about a year now.  We actually just were in SD to visit him and to say goodbye and were able to see the ship and have a tour.  It will be nice to be able to "picture" where he is while they are gone.

my son says any where from 8-10 months

Comment by Emmie on August 14, 2013 at 5:08pm

My girl says it should be either a 8 or 9 or 10 month deployment....Yeah Navy time!! He should get better info once he gets to the ship. My girl seems to be kept informed and lets us know when it is possible. Blessings to all as they prepare for deployment.

Does anyone know how long the deployment will last? My husband go assigned to the USS Harpers Ferry but is still in A school until the end of September

Hi Jim, I am on Facebook way more than I am here so I'd like to join your page.  My FMF Corpsman is joining the Harpers Ferry with the 1/3.  Since my boots on the ground sailor has never been on a ship, this should be quite an experience for him!  See you on FB!
