Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Sometimes we I get our ETs and FCs confused or simply not sure which sailors are what rate so it was suggested that we start a new list so if you don't mind signing in to the the appropriate forum...I won't call your sailor an FC, if you don't call my sailor an ET!!! :-D

My Sailor is an FC3, named James, currently Sea Sparrow tech on USS Bataan homeported in Norfolk; was in C-school at Dam Neck
Nancy, could be lonely in here for awhile!!! LOL But I know we have Julie, CCR, Kelly, Pamela, Karen....come on ladies...help us out!!! lol
my sailor is an fcsa or safc. Said he would be E-3 in January and had to pry it out of him that he is a push button petty officer. Is in San Diego in the CIWS program. I keep saying C -I-W-S program and he corrects me. Mom - its Seawhizzz!!!!. Don't spell it out. He also says no one says PIR. Everyone says Graduation. So I had to quit saying PIR 4/18/08 and say Graduated 4/18. MOM!!!!! ;Oh yeah, he got to visit the Bonhomme (sp?) on his birthday Jan 2 for a tour of the ship. Cool beans, huh? I have posted new pics Nancy, if you want to see the new and improved Patrick! LOL
He is right CCR - and so are you! You are spelling it correctly but it is pronounced as Seawhizz, I always think of CheezWizz but don't tell him I said that!!! LOL
That is what Kyle wants. Seawhizz or Agis. He was supposed to pick orders today but they didn't come in so he has to wait until next Wednesday. He will finished school next week. He said he should graduate on Friday the 13th. He's hoping to report to San Diego by March 2.
My Sailor is an FC currently on hold in GL, heading to Dahlgren on the 26th for Aegis C school!
Karla, Nick called tonight - sounds like your sailor is going to love it there. Duty = 5 day rotation.
Does FC school have a very long wait? My grandson is on hold in GL.
My Sailor is an FC on hold for A school in G/L. He is getting sooo good at cleaning!! oh..his name is Andy
Toni - hopefully he will get into classes soon with the holidays being over :-D No one likes cleaning detail but...it pays the same as being a sailor!!!
My husband is also on hold the prob is he is so sick of cleaning, that he has not been so willing to clean MORE when he gets home :0)
My Husband Christopher is an FC currently stationed in GL awaiting the start of A School.
