FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Ari'smom... ahhh yes...May/June is just around the corner. We sure look forward to any time we can get with our sailors, don't we?!! Those few days go by soooo quickly. I feel bad for them...everyone wants a piece of them when they're home...family..friends.

Keep us posted and let us know when your sailor receives her orders!

I found this graphic, I thought it was good as the "Mom Thinks" pic is excatly the picture in my mind of what FCs do.

I am guessing it will be about a month to two months before she gets her orders for C school. She did mention she is going to try and come home before she heads to C school so I'm guessing May or June. Not too far away.

Love the smiling pic!  Have a wonderful reunion!

They will love the sky diving....our sailor did it before he went to bootcamp! Just him, not us old farts...no way! We were just spectators!

Helen - what a life changing thrill!  I searched the facebook page and found A school grad to share with grandparents. Son does not realize the pics make us tear up! Now I will look for advancement pic

Arismom - son graduated mid January and got orders about a week ago - he was not expecting to hear yet but was thrilled.
