Welcome to our newest member Cam!

I just left a message on your page - FC2 with the Kidd, we have much we can learn from you Cam! I suspect your boyfriend had a good C school as well and perhaps there they get a few extra treats before they hit the fleet! Do you know what system he works on? How long has he been with the fleet? What did he go to school? We have other girlfriends in our group as well but be careful...some of them get married while here!!! (Kellie) LOL

I think they must spoil them in C school! Hopefully Claire will find her new home to be equally sweet next week!

How cool is this...Nick called and he was doing his laundry. We said better let you go so you can watch your laundry and he said...I am watching it...washer and dryer in his room!!! Life is good :-D

C school will not be at GL for him Anne. I've seen a few shorter C schools for the FC, that run about three months but most of them are much longer. Unfortunately you won't know what school he will get until about two weeks before his graduation. Decisions, decisions....never easy.

What a wonderful gift that would be to have them both home together before Claire ships out to Yokosuka.

And will she be taking leave before reporting or just heading to the warmth of MS?! Nick had the oppportunity to take 10 days leave but since he just used 15 during the holidays - did not want to use it all up.

Wow, we learn something new everyday. Thanks Intel. I remember us going through those acronym's back during the spring/summer, and my son still tells me the sailors do not say PIR - they say graduation. but it was fun playing the acronym game anyway.

One thing that you will learn during A school about holds, ships, orders, liberty, galley, duty...the rumors are even more rampant than in boot camp.

Low priority because they have an extra two years of school....hmmm I'm just willing to bet that the Navy would say...WHAT?! However it turns out, they are under contract, getting paid, fed, housed and sadly that is more than many civilians can say.
