Are arranged marriages still legal?!!!

It looks like our FC Jennifer is going to graduate on Friday as HONOR Grad!!! She's got to be very smart, I'm sure she is beautiful, we like FCs in our house and I think I'm going to work on an arranged marriage for her and my son!!! Of course, I want them to wait 10 years until they both at least senior chiefs but I think it could be a perfect match!!!

Isn't Nick going to be pleased with my newest finding on Navy for Moms!!

Goodness Kelly, maybe they are roommates??!!! I am out of town until Friday and don't have Nick's room # with me but perhaps they can meet up sometime. During the week Nick usually is either at the gym or back for classes.

He did tell me the Cole is supposed to get a bbq this weekend for going 30 days straight with no problems.

I watched the Submarine special on Military Channel. Wow, I like my sunshine too much for that ship!

If you have not seen Satelite Showdown yet, try to catch it on the Military channel. It is of the USS Lake Erie, they shot down the satelite in February. Great opportunity to see FCs in action!

Kelly, when Nick moved into his current ship they told him on the quarterdeck - you're sucking, two of your roommmates are slobs! He found that to be very true, tried to move to another room or ship but it was denied. Those two roomies finally got their orders someplace and the situation took care of itself.

Congrats to Claire on that module - I know she is impressed with herself. Some of the mods seem to be much more challenging than others and the instructors know it and usually will tell them up front - you are going to have a problem with this one. On one of our son's A school tests, they literally told them, there was a 90% failure rate on that one particular test. Nick passed it but ONLY passed it, it was not the test score that he has been used to getting but apparently it was "good enough". My old instructor does not understand why the questions have not been rewritten when they have those kind of stats.

We did get a bonus call from our son this morning early, he is on the Cole and they are having a bbq as they have had 30 days on their ship with no trouble.

Our "in house" FC Sailor will be graduating from C school on Friday and heading to another C school. Please join me in congratulating Jennifer! We have enjoyed having your experience here Jennifer and your willingness to answer our questions. Now enjoy your graduation...and get over to that new C school...we are not done with you yet!!!

Another milestone! ATT behind him - yahoo! I'll be telling Steve about the t-shirt, he likes Gary S. and even more so if he is raising funds to help our vets.

I can just hear you now CCR, a little Texas twang to go with that Guitar Hero! Nick had duty on Friday so he missed the concert.
Comment by CCR on July 21, 2008 at 7:36pm
Ordered the banner. Found out Patrick enjoyed the concert. Said everyone was "sitting there", so he went down and joined the mosh pit! LOL. Just like him. Do not know date for A school being over. He says he is now a little behind, but he is making very good marks and that is more important his proctor said. He just bought a playstation 3. Why did I bother bringing all his games and playstation and guitar hero? I could have really used that guitar hero...

Welcome Jennifer! Sorry you had to filter thru 60 pages but you will find alot of great info and support here. So if you have questions - just ask! There are various stages of FCs here from boot camp to fleet sailors. We know you are counting the days down to PIR - what a great weekend that will be for you and your sailor!
