Wow, and I've been wondering why they made him pick up trash - did they tell him to use his toes? Right before boot camp, Patrick was playing football and someone put their elbow into his jaw and knocked a crack in his tooth. I took him to the dentist, he did a temporary fix, and now he's having "lots of problems" with it. But he didn't have to have his wisdom teeth out. Says they told him he didn't have any. Guess he'll have to get wisdom from YEARS of experience. Its good to have a doctor say the surgery went successful. Was his dad wringing his hands cuz he couldn't be there?

Yea Barbara! We can never have too many FCs!

When our son would call from boot camp and mumble - I thought he just didn't have privacy and had to talk low but he is still doing that...is mumbling one of their boot camp lessons?!!!!!!!

My son is a mumbler too! I'm always asking him what?? Can you speak up??? He must think I'm aging quickly while he is away!! He's always been a tad soft spoken but half of our conversations I'm wondering what was that he said! Another reason why I miss those letters from boot camp!

Thanks ladies, I was hoping that it was a tad more "hands on" and a litle less...computer only.

Okay "A" school moms, do you know if A school is actually instructor lead or is it similiar to ATT?

The more the merrier here and since many of us are still in school we will be together for years, learning, stressing, crying, celebrating - it's all good! And we have the wisdom of a few seasoned moms to guide us along the way!

Andrew's Mom, then you know where Nac is, and Lufkin. Did you know Millye was from Palestine? Just SW of Jacksonville. Sometimes we have gone through Palestine to get to Corsicana to Ft. Worth, but I've also gone through Jacksonville to get to tyler. Jacksonville has a good little B & B there. They also had Joe's Italian food, that expanded to several other cities, then their family - long story.

Sounds like those mandatory absences occur more than I would have expected with different events that take place but he was good about doing the open sessions and hopefully that will continue now that he has made it to the "real" A school!

Allow me to be selfish today and share just a tad of good news from our homefront...our son called about noon to say he just took his final ATT class and gets to head to A school tomorrow!

For the past week, he had been saying...I think I will be done in a day or two so delighted to final have that stage behind us!

Ladies, just an update on LynnDear's son. He called her this morning and is having surgery on his hand today. Please keep them both in your thoughts and prayers.
