Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, January 24th @ 1:00

Florence and I are working on the details for a luncheon and we would love to see everyone attend. Details are still being worked out but it will be in the metro area, convenient to the freeways. We should have an actual "event" posted in the next few days for your rsvps - we just wanted to get the word out to you asap!

Bring cameras, bring photos of your sailors, bring Kleenex but most importantly...bring yourselves!!!

The last time I look on the event page there were 8 and there are about 8 to 10 coming that has not RSVP which is important in order to get a good head count. I'm so glad you are coming. Anyone you talk to that say they are coming ask them to please go to the Event page and RSVP.

Hugs
So sorry I missed this get together:( From the pictures it looks like you had a great time. I'll be looking forward to the next one for sure! By the way, I'm new to the group and I'm really looking forward to making some new friends and learning all about the navy experience. Blessings@
Welcome Michelle - glad that you have joined us. We will definitely be planning another event this spring.
I am so sorry I missed this luncheon. Maybe I will find out in time to make the next one. How did it go and did you have a good turn out?

Patti - we had a wonderful gathering, just under 20 which was a nice size for getting to know everyone. The next gathering is being planned for Saturday, April 25th - just working out details on the location and then we will post it. Hope you will be able to join us.
