sailordawgmom, no, my son is in NROTC right now...he has a LONG way to go, I can only go one day at a time :) I can't begin to think of how things will be when he gets to your son's level, you must be so very proud. As a vet, I know the military makes tremendous demands of their time, if they can make that....they can do anything. I will be coming back here alot to check in with some you great Navy moms. You guys are the ones that keep me informed of what's going on, so I hope you don't mind this mom asking because my son does not always like sharing :)

sailordawgmom: congrats on finally getting into a simulator. He has many, many, many hours ahead of him. Chris is in his last of 4 weeks playing "top gun". He is totally exhausted. For some fun he & a few friends also got to spend the Labor Day weekend in Lake Tahoe as well as attend the "tail hook" conference last week in Reno.

Welcome ArmyNavy mom and all of our new members!

I'm an Army, Navy Mom too. Our son is our sailor and is stationed in Hawaii but our son in law is our solider and returned safely from Iraq in July. Ironically both of their names are Nick ;-)
