Hey Ga. Moms! I sent The swink family the Sympathy Card. Yesterday. They should get it by the time they get back home. I hope everyone is having a great week. I am trying to make a good one. I have the Funeral home visit tonight for my friend Neal. Just keep the Jarvis family in your prayers.

ohhh Proud Mom! I find that boot camp is much harder on the families than it is on the recruits. We are sitting at home wondering every minute - are they okay? Are they eating, sleeping, getting yelled at, etc.etc. Are they sorry they joined??

Once you get that first real letter or phone call it will help tremendously.

In our son's case, he would tell us the food is pretty good and wish we did more PT time. He never expressed any regrets about joining :-)

Hello GA families!
I'm a facebook type and I'm finding great humor in all of the posts about today being the first day of school in so many states --- as we mark a month of school behind us here!

Sailor mom- safe travels to Jville - we look forward to hearing about Addison's arrival. Love that name!

Prays to Neal's family.

May the Lord lift up Neal Jarvis in his loving arms, heal and protect his wife and may God bless his family in their time of grief.

Good evening my friends. I want to come by to ask for prayers on a friend of mine.I got words a couple of hours ago that her oldest brother and sister-n-law were in Tn. on their motorcycle for the weekend and they had an accident.Neal passed away and she was in emergency surgery. Neal Jarvis was a Navy man in his earlier days. His parents have gone to Tn. I have asked his sister for his Military rank. They will be giving me details within the next couple of days. Please just keep this family in prayer. I knew Neal and he a a super guy.

Hi My Navy Moms!!! I welcome all our new moms. Welcome to the Navy Family. We give lots of support to our family. We have lots of fun. We try and meet once in awhile for lunch to meet everyone and hear the stories of our Sailors. In some cases when our Sailors are home we have them join us.
Remember to light our Blue Candles in honor of HM3 J. Michael Swink.
I talked to Laura the other day. She seems to be holding ok.She told me some funny stories of Mike.

Sailor mom, we have members that have HMs, we have members currently in boot camp, we have members with sailors in Mayport, we have members waiting for their new grandchildren to be born and we certainly have members that are deployed right now!

Yep ---- you find the right place! Welcome home :-)
