I am looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow! I may be a little bit late as I will be coming from wedding dress shopping with my daughter *sniff, sniff* and it may be hard to leave on time. Can't wait to hear all your stories and see all your pix of your kids!

TGIF ladies!!! And another HOT day in Atlanta, looking forward to fall more than ever!

Can't believe schools are starting Monday in Cherokee County and on Thursday for Cobb. I'm sure there are a few students saying...where did my summer go?!

Sounds like we are going to see a nice turnout for lunch tomorrow with 20 plus attending. If you would like to stop in and meet everyone we'd love to see ya!

Wade142 Did Erica get to go to either Norfolk or San Diego? you know she finished up boot camp with my grandson and he was shipped out on Tuesday from Great Lakes to San Diego and he has not been able to come home yet. But has gone through A school and is in his next school which he will get to come home after this school. But I also have a grand-daughter in Norfolk... she has been in service for almost 1 1/2 years and that is her home base, she is assigned to the James E Williams Nuclear Fighter Ship. When they first shipped her there the ship was out to sea and she went from Country to Country till they met up with the ship and was placed on ship by helicopter etc. It was very exciting to her for she was able to go to so many different places and was actually allowed to go into many of these cities etc almost like site seeing etc. but wound up in Somalia in the very bad part where people are in such bad shape... but then on to the ship. She will never forget this journey I am sure. But don't remember if I ever heard where your daughter was being sent to for her A school or sometimes they stay at Great Lakes for that... But anyway, my prayers are with you and I am praying for a speedy recovery.

Wade, sorry to hear about your bout with Cancer. I was trying to remember if you had joined myface as one of my friends. If you have not please join for we have a group of friends that are really prayer warriors and as i always say, i need all the prayers i can get. We live in Statham, GA and I have 2 grandchildren that are sailors and 1 grandson that is a us Coast Guard. I am very proud of my grandchildren that are serving our country. of course I am very proud of all my grandchildren. They are all precious to me. If you have already joined facebook and i am your friend, we have already been praying for you but if you have not joined please look for Arlene Robinson Murrell or my email address is arlenemurrell@att.net. It is easier for me to keep up with everyone daily there. But you will be in my prayers. my 2nd daughter just went through the same operation you had and actually they removed the thyroid and then found another tumor behind it tha tdid not show up in the xrays. she had been very sick for a long time and it took a change of doctors after several years of one doctor treating her and not really knowing what was wrong... but she is doing great now. Feeling much better.. So I am praying for a complete recovery for you and you will continue to heal and your body will be restored like new. God does hear and answer our prayers. Well look me up on facebook and be my friend. God bless you, Arlene
