That's right Jules, you will be heading to GL before you know it!

We received the letter and box yesterday. Our son is on ship 04 div 808. Would love to talk to anyone else on this ship. Planning the trip to GL! Another day that goes by is another day closer to graduation!

Graduations are almost always on Friday am, there are a couple of dates near the holidays that they may move it from Friday but not many.

Thank you so much for the reassurance!!! I have just made up my mind to only think great thoughts and send him the best wishes I possibly can! He is going in under a Seal contract. We are already trying to plan GL. Do you know if they graduate on Fridays only? When he left yesterday, he said that graduation was in 8 weeks and 3 days.

OMG, love the photos! Definitely a proud day for our sailors and their families, one you won't ever forget! Congrats to all.

Jules - I am close to Kennesaw and we have a number in te Cobb area. Your feelings are 100 percent normal! It will be easer once you get that first letter from him and soon after you will be planning your trip to GL. What rate is he going not after bootcamp?

SpecialK - bet he is excited to head to F! Weather should be just right for him!

BigZo ,,,did your new sailor get settled in Miss yet? Did you get to enjoy the weekend in GL with him?

Irene, nice to see you with your son, what side of town are you on? Where is your son at now that bootcamp is over?

Just want to stop in and Say hello... Our sailor has been deployed for almost a month and we missed his first call ...he was in Maylaysia! One of those heartbreak moments that you earn to deal with.

Hope everyone is good! Welcome to ur new families - tell us about your sailor, we adore them all!
