DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

I don't know of anyone that lives in Norfolk short of a sailors attached to the base. You might want to go to the Sailor Rescue group or the Virginia group and see if someone lives near the base that could allow him to park at their house for a couple of days until you get the parking situation squared away. Good luck!

GoneMad ---- yes, it is things like that -- that makes us crazy. I've been reading alot about this lately and understand that you can provide the base with a notorized letter that authorizes your son to use the truck while stationed in Norfolk. Have him go back to the tag office and ask if this is acceptable - I know it has worked for others.

Emily, I got my antibiotics today too.

Emily, thanks for posting the phone numbers - Fort McPherson ...ick Hope he will be feeling better soon.

Our son called last night and said he got a ...letter from Santa Claus! Truly some fabulous person wrote a letter addressed personally to our son from Santa at the Northpole!

Emily - you can go to tricareonline.com and there should be an 800 # that you can call to ask where to go for treatment. I believe if they don't have a doctor in your area - you pay and can get reimbursed. But please set us straight on this once you find out.

I'm off to the doctors today too...throat, ears, ick...feeling like an upper respiratory funk coming on. Sending hubby and daughter out with the last minute grocery list ;-)
