TGIF everyone!
Sounds like a lot of good stuff has been happening or at least some happy phone calls from some of our recruits and sailors!

Hmmm...balloons and Tunes festival huh? That sounds like fun Danielle - we've already planned our week or I might venture out for it. Nope - don't think that recruiter will give you the other boy's contact info at all - Took us 9 days to get Nick's address when he was in bc - recruiter called us ...the same day it should up in the mail.

Yea Wade - isn't it amazing what a single phone call will do for ya?! I promise in EVERY division there are a few guys that don't know how to shut their mouths or march or make beds or study or ...it happens in every division! Your son just needs to keep doing a great job and he will stand out.

Wanda...you've been staying busy!

We did get a call from our sailor last night too :-) His ship wasn't gonna go anywheres for quite some time as it just returned from a six month deployment but he found out that ...they are gonna go out for just a couple of days soon...he'll get to try out his sea legs!!!

HEy Diane, welcome home. Glad you got your daughter all settled in. Got to have coffee with Denise this morning - it's so nice to have other Navy moms close by.

The monsoon has started...again here.

Good morning ladies! We back from a two-week road trip to Boston to bring our daughter back to school. All quiet on the home front now. Will have more time to catch up with all of you. Have a great day and try to keep dry!

Wow - we went from sunny to a monsoon in Marietta! Such heavy downpour and we have had so much rain this week that the roads are flooding...must be because Steve thought he was going to take me out to dinner tonight! Squashed those plans! LOL

Keri - good luck to Tom and his shipmates today. Is this his first deployment? If so just know they are extremely busy with very long days so sometimes it takes a while to hear from them plus the communications on the ship(s) will be cut off at different times.

Rain hasn't started here yet today but I thought it would never come to an end yesterday.

Hi Trish.

Welcome wade 142! We definitely have some boot camp recruits there right now. One with a PIR date of 9/25, one of 10/09 and one with 10/30 so many celebrations in the weeks ahead!

I know Senoia -it's beautiful. I actually bought our golden retrievers from a family in Senoia.

LOL ---- you will be helping the economy LOTs during the next eight weeks Danielle! Our downpour was pretty solid her most of the afternoon and evening. It looks like we are going to get some rain for the next week. Didn't want to get that deck painted this month anyways!!! LOL

Hey girl - are you doing okay today? I know you had a great visit with Heather but there sure is a empty spot in the house (heart) when they leave. Let all those photos keep you busy!!!
