Because of the size of our group, Cobb County moved us to Sewell Mill Park, I will get the new details in the event room so everyone can map it out. It is still in Marietta/East Cobb but this will accomodate 80 people.

Hi all, been a busy few days for me but I know we have a number of new members and just want to welcome them to the group!!!

Also ditto to Irene's comments about the picnic - please go to events and let us know how many will be attending from your family. I have to keep the park posted on headcounts. I think it's going to be another great gathering!

Oh my Florence! How wonderful to see you!!! Please try to join us on August 22nd. Actually this morning I had to move it to another park but it is still in Cobb County. I talked to the recruiters office in Kennesaw and invited them to join us and I'm concerned that pavillion is not going to be big enough for our needs so the Cobb County Parks has been wonderful and we will be at Sewell Mill which can accomodate almost a 100 folks.......so come one, come all!!! I'll make the address change in the Events room later today but it's in the same area.

Jean, I'm so sorry to hear about the cancellation, it's been so long since you have seen your sailor - that will be a sweet homecoming.
