Carolyn, I bet June 22 is coming up fast on you. Wishing your son happy, summer days leading to his report date.

Welcome Marsha - those first deployments can be hard. Actually the old Navy wife in me would tell you, they never get better per se.

Wanda lives in Savannah and Barbara is in Statesboro which is close as you know. I'm sure we have a few other moms down your way as well.

Hi ladies, on to a new week. We really enjoyed our weekend, did a nice country drive on Saturday to see some potential houses and Saturday went to the Encore Theater in Alpharetta to see Chicago with Earth, Wind and Fire. Great show, they were not quite as energetic as they were the last time we seen them at Chastain but then again...neither are we!

Just a reminder we are having dinner with MCPON West in Chattanooga on Thursday night @ 5 pm. If you would like to join us please let me know asap as we are tighten up the plans with the restaurant and his office.

Liesa Marie...where is Northeast GA? We are in Marietta

We did get that storm last night and supposed to see alot of rain today, kinda makes our lifeguarding daughter smile. She is due to work 10 hours today and a day of rain might make for a slow day at her pool.

Jean's son is on the USS Boxer. We got to meet Jean at one of our lunches this spring.

I'll pull a description for you Liesa Marie and put it on your page. I do think that I have one posted in the threads in the AECF group.

Here comes the rain...again. I feel like they should be lifting the watering restrictions in our area but maybe I'm just be selfish here. We sure have had alot of rain recently.

Hope everyone is doing well, I took a couple of days away from the computer...kinda passively house hunting. Thinking we may want to move alittle further north - up towards Canton or so. All of our babies are grown up so want to get away from the crazy metro area.

June does sound like a great month in your house Barbara. For us it is a quiet month but we think our Sailor will be getting orders in June and now that today is the 1st, I keep looking at the phone and thinking he will call and say...I got orders ma! Although we don't have anything to celebrate per say, I love June because it's summertime. We sure will be happy for you to fly out to the ...west coast.

Good morning, hope it's a good week for everyone.

Oh your mother's home sounds so peaceful, I'd to have a place like that. Enough traffic, enough noise, enough, enough, enough...give me bird, raindeer and beauty.

Happy to hear Mike is getting to enjoy some leave in...paradise!
