Hi Ladies, we have finalized the dinner plans with MCPON West in Chattnooga for June 11th. Please see thread above or go to the events page. Hope to see many of you there.

MCPON West is the highest ranking enlisted Sailor in the Navy, his career has spanned 28 years now and he is very involved with our enlisted sailors. I think it will be most entertaining evening.

For those that would like to carpool/caravan - please let me know. My car maybe full now but I know we are planning on leaving the North Atlanta area as a group. All are welcome to join -

Sorry Barbara, may peace be with your family in the days ahead.

Sent our sailor back to base, he had class last night. It was a brief but sweet visit. I suspect the next time we see him, he will have fleet orders in hand but he has to finish C school first and that should be in August.

Oh Linda - Congratulations to him!!!

Florence - so nice to see you stop by, we miss ya. Barbara, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Our sailor FINALLY went to bed, he goes to school from midnight to 8 am and his schedule is all upside down. Old high school girlfriend has surfaced this weekend...

Congratulations to your son Carolyn, a proud moment for sure. As much as I enjoyed watching my kids graduated from high school - it was nothing compared to that PIR graduation. Now our kids graduated in 05 and 07 so my memory maybe fading and I'll be interested to hear the WOW when you see your son march into that hall as a Sailor! What a summer for your family, high school graduation and boot camp graduation all in one summer!

I ran over to Krogers for a few things this morning - you know it was only a few things cause I ONLY spent $30! LOL But it was exciting seeing all the moms coming into pick up the school color balloons or their sheet cakes. I love a celebration!

Have a fabulous holiday weekend ladies -

Oh Barbara, I am so sorry. It seems your family has had so much on it's shoulders this year. Our prayers are with you and your family.
