OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey ladies --- working with a local Navy LT, we have been invited to join Tennessee families in Chattanooga for dinner with the MCPON Rick West for dinner on Thursday, June 11th @ 6 pm. Your sailors will be impressed with the company that you will be keeping!!! LOL

I need to get a solid headcount of attendees, so if you can join us and would like to bring your spouse or families please go to EVENTS for details or send me a note.

I would be happy to carpool or caravan to the location in Chattanooga. Would love to see a great turnout for the MCPON and it will be a great chance for us to ask questions about our Navy.

Carolyn - with your son being in the DEP program - he maybe very interested in what MCPON West has to say.
