Our daughter has finished A school and came home for her visit (12 days). She is now in Mayport. Does anyone else have someone there?

Hey momof Tom. I lived in that area for quite a few years. (St Mary's ). I loved that area. There isn't a whole while lot there but all you need. He will be close to Jacksonville!

Hi ladies!  I'm not sure I'm in the right place.  My son just got his orders from San Antonio A school to Kings Bay PRP for the next several years.  I'm looking for moms of sailors stationed here, and in the future, just general info about the area when we go down to visit.  Please let me know if this isn't the right place for me to be.  I'm not a Georgia peach and I've definitely NOT been to finishing school!  :D

Hi ladies, how is everybody doing? Missed you all.:-)

I don't know too much about subs but if he graduates from sub school and gets orders to Kings Bays as his command, you should be able to PCS (permanent change of station orders) to Kings Bay, which would include shipping your furniture there.

Where are you at currently?  How long is your hubby's school?  Is it in Groton?

Does anyone know if I could move to King's Bay when my husband gets done with sub school after boot camp? Also would anyone know when he would leave for sub school after boot camp?
