Susan...Thanks. They are about as opposite as two can be. Our middle is looking at Air Force or Navy once he gets accepted to med school. He hasn't decided which one. They both offer wonderful scholarships.
Kathy... You are so right. We love them all!!! If our middle son goes into the Navy, he will out rank our oldest. They have been getting a good laugh out of that.
Ditto to "All" you said Kathy..."We Love Them All"!!!!!!!
Ahhh Yes Paces...I know what master of arms is all about. It's still a very similar career with very physical tactical training. We have the same "son" mold!!!! It sounds like your 2 sons are "quite" the opposite!! My 2 are the opposite also. You must be proud of both. I wish your other son the best of luck with his med school applications.
Susan...No. He reclassed as master of arms. He lost his contract after his second injury. It was so hard on him. He does have a master chief that is working with him there. He is helping our sailor prepare for the srf team. No sure what that stands for, but I understand it is the military version of a swat team. He has been there since mid July.
Paces, Is your son who is in Bahrain still with the Special Ops?
Susan... I agree, Wow!. I hope the wedding went well, M-in-L's surgery went well and all the visits were wonderful. You have truly been a busy lady. I too have been trying to make a meet and greet, but just seems something comes up every time. Our son is finally settled in Bahrain. It has been such a long road, but it looks like it is all beginning to fall in place, with him anyway. Our middle son is still trying to get in med school. He is currently working on 12 applications. Enjoy your time with M-in-L and your visits with your son. They are truly so precious.
Hope to be able to make the next meet and greet. Susan
Kathy, LOL......... I sure did give our son a "Great Big Navy Mom Hug" from all of you & shared your expressions for his bravery & service. He's home with us on leave right now. Of course....he's the one in the Air Force, our oldest is the one in the Navy. The 2 of them always make jokes about each others service when they get together. He smiled & said, "Gee Mom, aren't you on a web site for Air Force Moms"? Well...I had to tell him last time I checked into it, The website for the AF was not as well put together & organized as the Navy one. Yikes....he took it well & is very gracious for your "Blessings"!!
Katlanta - We love Teds Montana Grill. Wish they di dnot close the one in East West Connector. Okay we are in what day and time? -
Katlanta - September 15 is fine for us.:-) Where in Marietta?
No worries Katatlanta, we always have some that rsvp that will be there and others that don't get a chance to rsvp - and it always seems to work out in the end.
It was lovely meeting new families and see so many of our "old" ones.
Off to Texas - have a great weekend everyone!
