Katlanta- we are not coming my youngest is coming here Saturday morning don't know what time, her dad and step Mom is going on a cruise vacation so she is coming back home for 9 days. And I know she has a friend coming with her. Maybe next time we can come. :-(

katlanta - I know for sure I will be there and if my son's football camp is over in time my husband and son may also come.

@Andysproudmom - my son's PIR was this past October.  We stayed at the Navy Lodge - just a few blocks from the base. This particular Lodge is unique- you do not have to have your sailor make the reservation OR check in with you.  The rooms were about $65/night - clean and neat, not too extravagant.  You can google Navy Lodge and get all the location information and then call direct to make your reservation.  Best wishes to you and your SR!

The best is look it up goggle the closet hotel/motel from RTC. Katlanta was correct its better to stay closed on base.

Welcome, Andysproudmom. Great to have you. I can't help with the place to stay, but as katlanta said, do look for the page set up for your PIR group. You can look for the PIR date, but it also lists the divisions that will be graduating. Good luck.

Ladies, Please add our son to your prayer lists. He leaves on Tues for overseas for 3 years.

Also, because of a last minute 25th wedding reception for my sister, we will not be able to make the meet and greet on the 21st. Looking forward to the next one.  Hugs and Prayers, Susan

Okay for us just let us know for sure where.:-) Inside Marietta square would be great.

katlanta- I'm good with any. Marietta pizza does have a separate dining room other than the one right on the corner. It's still connected to MPC but a couple of doors down on Church street side. Might could turn that into a more private dining room if we asked about using that.

MSmom...We live about an hour south of Atlanta. Sorry.  Good luck with your move. Praying for a safe trip.
