For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Here4Payton, we live in Atlanta but our sailor son is from Douglasville; he lived there until Aug. of last yr. When he left for the Navy we moved to Atlanta but he grew up and went to school in Douglasville. You can contact me privately if you wish.
Katlanta my husband wants to stay in downtown I told him I want to be in Great Lakes soon they open the door for the PIR which is 6:30am Downtown is far from the base correct? About 35 miles I say not sure. I sure would like to go to the meet and greet that Thursday night, then Friday too so I can see all the proud Navy Moms and was able to get to know them and makes friends if they're kid are in the same division with Avia but right now I don't know for sure that depends how tired Matthew is from the drive LOL. Well see you at the meet and greet in Marietta.
Katlanta thank you for the information. For sure we are going to the PIR, we have been counting all the days for that already. For sure we are driving since it's under 10 hours drive for Matthew We plan to stay longer there and go seightseeing too LOL.
Kathy - Japan is beautiful I love living there. But we have to go back in the States. My two cousins still lives there and they have dual citizenship. So the Graduation we don't need to come correct or we have to come to that one too? - China:-)
Okay I got confuse for a little bit here. So after A school there is another graduation? I thought after A or C school they can either have a vacation or go straight to the duty station?
Yes, ladies there is another meet and greet this coming July 21 at Hemmingways Bar and Grille in Marietta Square. From 1-4pm RSVP Katlanta.

I believe ladyayp is, remember the first meet and greet I went to last year we did in Douglasville because of ladyayp.
