Chinadoll,
My son's recruiter told us to there at 9. The first group was at 9:30, but my son was not until 11. If you get there her swearing in, they can do one for you. Give yourself time to find the gate, get through and get to MEPS. It is a precious thing to see the swearing in.
Hi all, thank you the advice and prayers. Avia was excited and happy she is looking forward for the new adventure. Tomorrow well see her for the last time, then she will fly for Great Lakes. Hope everything will be alright. I heard that they have to wear a grandma panty hah hah hah. I am curios how about the bra? Probably the same lol.
chinadoll... Thinking of you and praying. I know it will be a great day. Susan
Waiting to hear from our Sailor. He is supposed to be coming in either Fri or Sat. for a few days before he transitions overseas.
Katlanta- Thanks for the advice, Matthew has to work thats the problem so this is the reason why we need the idea of what time. You are right we just need to go there then. - China
Hi ladies, Avia is gone for the hotel now, tomorrow she will go to Fort Gillem for the final physical and paperworks. The recruiter did not tell us what time we should be there. Any ideas? We want to see her take the Oath as active duty Military Personel. We need a time should we go to Forth Gillem? - China:-(
Katlana, thank you, so if my son's PIR is in Nov. he will be in the Navy Blue Uniform, good to know! Thank you!
I have a question, may be a dumb one but.... I have been looking at pictures & Youtubes of the PIR & I noticed that some Sailors are in the dress white uniform & some PIR's they are in the Navy blue??? What is the difference?
Kathy - Thank you, Avia just don't want to hear anything about the military right now LOL. - China
katlanta - Thank you for the comments that was great no cursing that all I want to hear. I know they can't do too many wrong like I told Avia. Listen do what they ask and keep your mouth shot. This way they won't make her life difficult. Donot reason out at all. i am sure she will do good. I am very positive with that. :-) See you next Saturday at CNN
Robynkm - Thank you for the website I look at it last night and save it to my favorites. Again thank you - China:-)
