I would love to meet everyone.  We just found out a few weeks ago that our son is leaving for basic training October 29th.

ladyayp...Sounds great.  Would love to meet everyone.  Susan... Yes, he was able to re-class to Master of Arms. It has been a difficult process for him emotionally, but he leaves on Friday for A school. It has been a very long 8 months and it will be a relief to have him out of Great Lakes. That in itself has been depressing, never mind the injuries and physical therapy.  Thank you for keeping him in your prayers.  Hugs and prayers.

I personally won't be able to attend anything until the end of June (after my daughter's wedding), but I think if you can get others to agree on a date, it would be great for all!! Ladies, it sounds like it could be a blast!!!

susan, I am glad you like the idea of a park. I personnally can do it sometime this month or first week or so in june. Lets try to get this together ladies. Tanner park is $5.00 to get in. They have a beach and places to barbecue. They also have pavillons. Please lets all get together and make this happen.

Ladyayp.....A "Park" is a great idea for all the families to meet!!!

Paces....I'm sorry to hear your son lost his Spec Ops contract. I know how committed they are when choosing that field. Has he chosen a new field yet? My son in the Spec Ops Air Force is getting deployed in the fall, so I was happy to hear the Presidents "Speech" last night.

good morning ladies. I have not been on in a very long time. It appears that a meet and greet never took place. It is getting into the summer months now and alot of people will be taking vacation. My idea is for tanner park which is located in carrolton, ga. Please give me your thoughts on this. I hope all have a great day!!!

Chinadoll19; Susan;... We are doing well. Our son has finally been released for duty and is on his way to A school. He has truly been through the mill, but I know he will be stronger for it. Not sure if I shared, he did lose his Spec Ops contract. He finished his physical therapy and was able to be cleared for duty last week. Praying for no more surprises.

Susan, hoping all goes as planned for the wedding. I know this is an exciting time for the whole family.

Hugs and Prayers, Susan

Hi to All. It looks as though everyone has had a busy schedule these past few months with their families. Did a Meet & Greet ever take place? I wish I could organize one right now, but my daughter is getting married the end of May in NJ & we will be up there a good month. If one hasn't taken place by the end of June, I will try to get a date started up again. Love To All.
