A Big Congratulations to Paces "Sailor"!!! Happy Holidays To All! We are going up to NJ to be with our daughter's family over the weekend, then heading back home here, as "both" our boys will be visiting our new home for the "1st" time next week!!! I can't even begin to tell you how "E-X-I-C-I-T-E-D" we are for their visit!!!!!! :))))))))
Congratulations, Paces! I remember how exciting it was to get that call!
Great news Paces and good luck to your son!
We got the "I'm a sailor" call just a few minutes ago. He finished yesterday. He will be in THU (Temporary Holding Unit) on medical hold for a while. Because he is Spec Ops, he needs to train to build back up to standards. He will have to run 5 miles as soon as he gets to "P" school. They want to give the leg more time to heal before attempting the 5 mile run. He may get to come home for New Year's.
Thank you again for all the prayers and support. Merry Christmas everyone!! It sure is for us.
Hi ladies. I have not been on in awhile. I noticed alot of new members. Some live in bowden and carrolton. I would love to get together with these moms. I am a stay at home mom. My children are grown and gone. If you would like company please e-mail me at annaposey@bellsouth.net.
Thank you for all the prayers. Got a letter yesterday. Went back to the doctor for xrays yesterday. If all went well he will be moving to Phase 4 of 4. He can start running again. Praying his leg is healed enough to complete his last PST and Battle Stations so he can finish on the 16th. The last 800 division of the year is graduating on that day. He won't participate in the graduation ceremony, but he will finish and move on to "A" school. Wow! The light at the end of the tunnel. This has certainly been a longer roller coaster ride than we ever imagined. :) Prayers, patience, perseverance and great support from our wonderful Navy for Moms. Thank you.
Welcome, ItsMeLesaT... That is funny. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm glad mail is getting to all your sailors. We are still waiting as patiently as we can for good news that our son's leg is healed enough for him to finish boot camp. He hopefully will move to phase 4 in RCU this week. Praying for graduation in two weeks.
Have a great Monday!!!
