Kathy, November 12th sounds good to me. It does not matter where, but I will not drive no further than douglasville, and I do not see spending a large amount of money just for lunch. I suggest the Food court inside douglasville mall.
That way everyone could get what they want and not spend alot of money. Please give me your input into this. Thanks

Hi mombychoice, thanks for your info Golden Corral is a nice place too also you have so many choices of what to eat. My husband has to have his humburger so me personally maybe we should eat there but it doesnt matter where everybody wants to go. He is coming with me so me myself the  Sam and Roscoe's they have food that I will eat. This is is a great idea thaty ou have mentioning all the restaurant that we can go too. Whatever everybody's decision is fine for me. We can goggle the address as long as we know the name and address of the restaurant.

I have never eaten at SAM & ROSCOE'S but know that it is a little pricey. PROVINOS on Chapel Hill is nice and perhaps a little cheaper. OLIVE GARDEN ion Douglas Blvd. on an outside corner of Arbor Mall. On Chapel Hill near I-20 there is LOGAN"S STEAKHOUSE and just off of Fairburn Rd. there is a LONGHORN STEAKHOUSE.  There is also a GOLDEN CORRAL on Douglas Blvd. near the Lowes Home Improvement. Doesn't matter at all to me, just thought I would add these places that I am familiar with in the area.

Brent'smom - to Douglasville take 400S to I75-85 through town, you will pass
GA Tech, further along will pass Grady Hospital on your right; at that point need to be getting in the right lane to feed into the Birmingham I-20 WEST ramp. Stay on I-20 until you get to EXIT for Rte. 5 (The next exit after Chapel Hill exit) . Make a left, get in right lane, turn right at the Walgreens. That will be Douglas Blvd. I live in "
Brookhaven near Phipps Plaza and it takes me about 35 mins. with no traffic.

Where is Douglasville?  I live off GA 400 north.  I am open most Saturdays and Sundays afternoons up till 11/13/11.  I am so excited about meeting you all.  My son just got verbal orders for after A school.

Katlanta, I vote for the restaurant. Never been there but look nice and the food are reasonable. Post what day and time everybody wants to meet. - China

katlanta, I am also looking froward to meeting some of the navy moms. We, as a group seem to have a hard time deciding when and where. most of us know the douglasville area, and some do not. Anyways, as soon as the group decides, I would love to come.Keep in mind, we are slowly approaching the hoildays, and everyone will be very busy.

Hey guys I'm in on the Meet and Greet. I can think of at least 7 or 8 maybe 10 that normally comes. We had close to 20 on our last one. So when looking for a place those are some past numbers. Looking forward to seeing everyone. >> Shadowcrzn...excited for your SR and battlestations. Remember Chris's big nite. Our Navy 4 Moms PIR group lit candles every nite for each BS group and wait for all those phone calls that came each day. Good luck to him and his PIR group.
