Hey Cindy!Welcome to the Navy. The box you should recieve within the first week. The first letter is most of the time a 2 week wait. The first week the commander has to get them refocused after leaving home. Then after the first week they get to write home on that Sunday. We are here for you if you need anything.

Hello everyone. I'm a new navy mom. My daughter shipped out for boot camp on Nov. 23. I'm still waiting for "the box" and my first letter. Glad to find a group for Ga. moms.

Thanks all, we are in NY with Ashleigh and her hubby, they both look great and have done such a nice job setting up their first home.

I went with her to meet the ob doc today --- our first grandbaby is going to be here in about two weeks!

And to top off our exciting day, our son called from Hawaii and made e5 today. Life is good! Hope everyone is well.
