Just got home from Publix and was astounded by how many "I voted" stickers were in the store! Spoke to a few neighbors, everyone was pleasantly surprised how busy the poll booths were so early in the day.

What ever your political affliation might be - take time to vote today. Our military deserves strong leadership and benefits.

I wanted to publically thank everyone who helped support Atlanta Navy Week in October. All of the visiting Sailors had a lot of fun that week, and some of the photos are at http://www.flickr.com/photos/navyweek/sets/72157625021416629/

Good morning ladies,
The USS George Washington was able to return to Yokosuka after waiting out some storms. Welcome home to the crew!

We had a picture perfect day yesterday in GA! We started our morning iwith coffee in Ellijay, a picnic lunch in Brasstown Bald, wine tasting at Tiger mountain and dinner in Helen. It could not be a better fall day!

Hope everyone is well ----- anyone else going to be available for the potluck on the 13th???

Welcome to our newest members! Please introduce yourselves :-)

Gathering opportunity!!!

Diane has been able to reserve her clubhouse in Powder Springs on Saturday, November 13th ==== do we want to have a casual potluck and enjoy sometime together before everyone gets busy with their holidays??
Please let us know asap so we can make a sign up sheet for a dish or...cancel the clubhouse until after the holidays.

I know it's short notice but please let us know by Saturday am if you think you can attend. I will set up an "Event" so you can post if you will be joining us.

Thanks!
