OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Oh Barbara, so good to see you again.

When I read of the death of our sailor in Thomasville, I knew we had families in the area. Our prayers will be with his family today. Our neighbors, the Flemings will be burying their Marine in Arlington on the 7th with a memorial service here on the 9th. I would love to be there for them but we are going to be out of town.

I'm SO excited about October's arrival! Lots of things for my family to smile about this month :-)

Goodness! All of Savannah members are making me think we might need to do a gathering in Middle GA again.

We did do one in Savannah about a year ago and had a lovely time.
