I just got a very unexpected call from my sailor. He has only been out 2 weeks today but didn't have all the information about me he needed to get me clearance for PIR. It was the most emotional call but the best birthday present ever!!!!!!!! Hang in there they really do love you and miss you more than you probably love and miss them!

I'm head over heels for my SR. We have been together 5 years but he has NEVER showed emotion to me like he did on the phone.
Just out of curiosity, what information did they need for PIR clearance? I was under the impression they just needed Name and relation??? Oh and Happy Birthday! Lucky you to get an early call! :D
He had to have my SS # my city of birth and full address. I don't know if it is because we are only dating or what but I'm not complaining about getting an early call. When does your SR graduate?
My boyfriend is graduating 9/28 (3 weeks!!!) But I haven't heard anything from him about SS# or birth cities or anything >.> hmmmmm
That is so awesome. Has it gone by pretty fast for you?
I have no idea then. Guess Ill have to ask him that in my letter to him tonight. Thank you!!
Did you ever find out what he needed your SS# for? Just curious?
Yeah my SR is going into intelligence so he has to get top security clearance. He and I had been basically living together for the last 10 months so because of that they had to look into my background also. He actually called me 2 others times and has facebooked with me once for 2 hrs trying to collect and get all the information he needed. He said they may even show up at my house to look around to make sure it is a drug free house and there is nothing illegal going on. So yeah I think we were both emotional on the first call so all the information didn't come out quite right so I thought it was for PIR when it was actually for something else
