Hello everyone!

I have been feeling rather sad these past few days. Boot camp was hard but I am glad that it's over. I think bootcamp made our relationship stronger. Right after graduation, he was sweet and very attentive. My boyfriend is now in A school and on the first week that he was there, he was sweet and was calling me everyday. However, once school started, he rarely called or texted. I tried telling him that I would really appreaciate a 2 minute call or even just one or two texts a day, and he tried to fulfill my request for two days and now we are not talking again. When I call, he wont even pick up. We would just text back and forth. This had been going on for like a week now. When I asked why he couldn't even spare a minute or two on the phone, he says he is really busy. I understand he is busy (I am busy too, but I could always find time to talk). But is it really hard to call your girlfriend for just one minute to make sure she is okay?

Anyways, thank you for reading. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Otherwise, I just really need to get this off my chest.

Happy Saturday!

It's fun coz u know u havent seen him for 2 months.... then you will see them again. It was a great feeling, it felt like we appreciated each other more than before. He was so proud of himself. He got mature and sweet. Treated me with respect all day. However i think most of those qualities were short-lived. =( But you know, everyone is different....

awww poor thing. well im here to talk when he doesnt have time for you :) i gchat all day and obvi facebook

Thanks Rani!!!! I appreaciate it..... i hope it changes when A school is over. I guess I gotta be tough... ugh =( I will add u right now... =)

I went Thur the same they do have a lot on them there are a lot of times to where they can't have their phone and they have duty so keep your head up and try not to stress it cause they do have a lot on their plate I wish I would've done things a little different

Thank you Crystal for your reply... however what do u mean by u wouldve done things a little different?

Where is he?

He is at Fort Sam Houston, TX

If he is that old than he should be well accustomed with prioritizing. No excuse, they are never that busy. He should Have time for a 2 mins call even if it is to say good night.

You are right Dina... that's why I am having a really hard time accepting that he is "busy" and dont have time to call or text. Cant even remember the last time we said "i love u" to each other but i know i could be asking too much. It's been a week already........ i dont think i feel appreaciated right now =( I just hope it's just coz he is in A school.

You are in a relationship so it shouldn't be a one way street. He can either do his part, Navy doesn't g
ive him a free pass to not do anything for his relationship, especially since boot camp is over. How is going to act when he is deployed?

I know Dina.... That's why I have been feeling down these days... Don't know what to do yet right now. Deployments would suck!

Just keep yourself busy, that way you are not setting yourself up to be hurt. it doesn't sound like you nag him so it's not fair. Make it clear he needs to be putting some effort or you deserve someone who will. A 3 mins Call literally is Not to much to ask Of him. My Husband is in A-school he needed an adjustment period but he always called every night to check up on me and it was extremely short calls at first. weekdays I get hour phone calls, Weekends we alternate from both of our social lives. Or just together time where we skype and spend most of the day on the phone. He is also at the top 5 of his class. Graduating this Month and heading to C-school in April.
