Today was a particularly hard day.  A lot happened, and I wish I could talk to my boyfriend about it.  Who is in bootcamp.  So obviously, I can't.  Its been about 2 weeks, and i'm starting to really miss him. With it being a tough day, its making the missing him harder.  Does anyone have any advice??

Hey, I had a rough day, too. My guy has been gone for 35 days on his first deployment and we have a long way to go. Honestly, what I did today was give myself five minutes to listen to a sad/mushy song and cry on my bed and then I got up. I made some dinner, while listening to happy songs that remind me of him, and danced a little in the kitchen. I also make little videos for him and send them to him in care packages (granted you can't do this right now, but he might like seeing them when he gets out of bootcamp), so I made a video for him while I was cooking dinner. It's not exactly like talking to him, but it helps to know that he'll eventually see it. What I have to remind myself, too, is that this is going to END...deployment (and bootcamp) aren't forever and each day that passes is just one day closer to seeing each other again.

And I know people say workout, but seriously, look up a thirty minute HIIT (high intensity interval training) cardio workout on youtube and do it, even if you're feeling like crap, it gets your heart pumping and you sweat it out and get some endorphins in your system.

Also, I'll write him a letter whenever I'm missing him where I write about stuff I want us to do in the future/future plans.

It's all about reminding yourself that this isn't forever and that life without them at all is so much worse than having to miss them while they're gone, ya know?

I hope this helps!

It really does! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Good luck!!

Write down everything you would have told him...sometimes that helps  /hugs
