Thanks for Replying, if you want to hang out/talk I can email you my info. I hoped u get stationed where you really want to go. I'm from Texas and it's very different here. Anyway hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks again
My husband is on a ship out of Norfolk that deployed recently. I'm not there now but will be back in a few weeks to do a ten week summer internship in VA Beach. I'm always up for meeting new people if you're looking for company :) I work a lot of hours but usually get at least a couple of days off each week. I know how lonely deployments can be. Hang in there!! You can do this :)
Great, well I hope we can get together when you come to Va Beach. I can email you my info. Oh and yes deployment is so hard but hopefully I can get my mind off of deployment, or at least try to :o)
Thanks again for replying :o)
I'd love too :) I'm always up for shopping or lunch or the beach or drinks or... well, pretty much whatever :). Getting out and staying busy definitely helps keep your mind off of it! :)
Hey ladies! My husband just got orders to Norfolk, VA with the VRC-40 Squadron. We'll probably move to VA the end of August or early September. Any info on the area, housing, squadron, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I'm happy to see that there are other active wives in the Norfolk area. Thanks! :)
My Husband and I just got orders also! We will be moving sometime in July, I'm guessing mid-late. I too would love to hear any info you ladies have about housing, etc! My Hubby will be on Eisenhower, at NSN. My hubby and I went to college years ago right south of Norfolk, so I'm kinda familiar with the area, however we didn't have kids then, so I certainly didn't make notes of the good places to live! LOL, we have a 1 1/2 year old, and one on the way, due January! :) Thank, and look forward to meeting some of you ladies!
My husband is on the Eisenhower! Let me know if you need any help or information. There is an Ike group on here as well that you should join. Welcome aboard (:
Thank you!! Mind if I friend you and PM you some questions? I just joined the IKE group as well! Thanks!
Sure! Go ahead and ask away (:
I also just moved to Norfolk about 3 weeks ago and my husband flew out two weeks ago to meet up with the Enterprise.  I have a 7-month-old and would also definitely love to meet some people!
