My boyfriend left for basic yesterday! He made his last call to me 9:18 pm and it lasted 18 seconds. I can't put my phone down!! I keep checking it for a text even though I know I won't be getting one!! He told me I could call his recruiter and get his address but I'm not sure how soon I can do that. I am soo anxious and nervous for him but excited too. I'm so proud but I miss him already! Did anyone else's boyfriend/fiance/husband leave Jan. 5?? I wonder when graduation will be!

aw :) at least you have things to keep you busy! How long have you been married? I'm taking 18 hours in college this semester so I'm hoping that will help keep my mind off of it! Do you think our guys will graduate at the same time since they left only 2 days apart?
I'm just learning all this info too! lol I just thought I'd get on here so I could talk to people going through the same thing :) He swore in in July and just left so about 6 months!
There will be several divisions put together from the SRs arriving in that time frame. They may possibly be in the same "ship", but maybe not. Don't count the first week, they'll be processing in or waiting for recruits from all over the country to arrive.
Yeah I knew the first week was processing! So really it will be closer to 9 weeks total, right? When can I expect my first letter?
Thank you for all the info!!! I'm thinking I'm going to call his recruiter monday and ask if he knows his address yet! How many letters have you gotten so far? and was it awesome to talk to him on the phone the first time?? You're pretty close to graduation! I can't wait for that! I'm soo thankful that we got to spend Christmas and New Years together! I would have been so sad to miss that :( I'm sorry you had to but at least you are close to seeing him again!
OMG I cannot wait to get letters!! oh I just know I'm going to cry my eyes out especially if he's as sweet as he was when he text me bye at the airport :( and yes he should just put a few letters in one envelope so he doesn't use as many stamps! I'll have to tell Chase to do that! He left with only 20 so we will definitely have to send him more! you've got less than a month until graduation! ooh I'm so jealous lol but I hope time passes quicker from here on for you! and me! lol
Mine left on the 3rd....where did yall's go??
