Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Car Insurance
So here's the story, we have USAA currently on our two vehicles but for some reason they are enjoying screwing us over. What other insurance companies have good rates???

We have Geico and get great rates for our two cars, they offer a military discount too as long as the policy is under his name! They have not screwed us over. Unfortunately I have heard that a lot about usaa!

wow I'm surprised to hear that. We had USAA for years now and they have been good. We shopped around for other car insurance rates not long ago and USAA was the lowest for the coverage we needed.

I had progressive for many years before I got married and always rate shopped at least once per year. I highly recommend them for rates and customer service. Now we have Farmers, because he had his car, motorcycle and his homeowners through them and the rates are very good. Farmers will depend on your agent though. I had farmers when i was 16 and they "misbilled" me for 6 months. Then wanted me to pay the difference a year later, even though I had no claims.
