My husband left on 7/13/11. I haven't heard from him since the 14th when he was calling to tell me he made it Chicago. Does anyone know when I'll get a phone call or a letter from him?

So I just got the form letter and it seems that the recruiter gave me the address wrong. She didn't tell me I had to write his whole name, she said just to write his last name. And she didn't tell me that I had to write the 4 numbers after the zip code. His ship and div was right though. As long as that's right they should be able to figure out that the letters belong to him right?
It might take a little bit longer but as long as his last name, ship and div number are right they should still find him!

you need to write it the same way that he writes it on the first letter that has the graduation info on it. It's in all caps with last name, first name, middle initial... The div/ ship ... address. They may be able to figure it out but they don't have to

oh good i'm glad i'm not the only one! i'm sorry, it sucks for both of us! I hope we get it today, i'm a little bit worried!
Hi there... my husband graduated last year and we had to wait two weeks I received the letter with his address it was another week before he could write. They are only allowed to send mail out on sundays but if he makes friends with the mail guy he should be able to get more out. They only get to call if they need some information. The phone call that comes about 5 weeks into it is about 30 mins but time can be added or taken away if they mess anything up. Our call was cut short to 20 mins but he was able to call quite a few times during his stay b/c of "needing information" Stay strong and remember to write him as often as you can. The spend all of their time talking about you and future plans with you... it means the world to get something to you so send even if it takes awhile to get something back to you.

Thank you all so much for replying! It's been really rough not hearing from him. I just hope to get a letter soon! I'll keep my fingers crossed! :)

my boyfriend also left on the 13th and i just got an envelope in the mail with 2 letters in it :) so if you didn't get it today...you should get it soon!!!

It seems like everyone else is getting letters but me!! Gosh lol. I didn't getting anything today so it looks like I'll be stalking the mailman again tomorrow :)

I'm with you... still haven't gotten anything either, it seems like everyone else in his division did though! Even his parents got a letter so I know he was able to write!!! Where are our letters???

Haha! Well at least you know that ur SR actually got the chance to write. I don't even know if my husband wrote anyone yet. No one else got letters from him so I'm assuming that he didn't. This sucks! :( Maybe we'll get something tomorrow :)

they usually get to write every night around midnight..alteast that's what my SR said..they just get to mail them on sunday's
Thank God! I really hope I get something today! If not then maybe I'll get something next week! :)
