He is now in meridian ms doing his a school for ls. This whole experience has been one of the hardest things i have EVER been through. Its really lonely and I miss him so much!! I guess i'm trying to find people who know what i'm going through...none of my friends or family really understand. ANY advice at all is greatly appreciated!!!

I am going through the same things that you are. My sailor is in TX right now and Im all the way across the country in NC working. How long is his A school? You can message me anytime, cause Im often looking for any words of encourgement.

Hey!! My sailor's a school is self paced...it generally takes 5-6 weeks and he just started this week =/ i guess its not nearly as bad as boot camp because he can at least call me everyday which i am grateful for. Are you and your sailor engaged?? I wish we could swap places we'd both be closer to our men that way lol

STAY STRONG! =)

ur super lucky my boyfriends school is 31 weeks and he has yet to start them he has been there a month and might not start for a couple more :/ and just think on the plus side you guys are both ALOT closer then me and my guy im in Washington  nearish Canada and he is in Pensacola Fl i haven't seen him in person sense before boot and might not see him tell Christmas  its lame but oh my gosh i love the fact that he has his phone and just got his laptop so we skype alot well once he gets off work for the day that is :)

Hey Tiffany I also live in Texas:) My bf and I have been together for just over 4years, but he is still in basic training. =P I completely understand about being lonely as I'm know a lot of ladies here are without there man:D You are welcome to message me anytime

So we are almost in the same boat! Basic training was so hard for me to get through but seeing him graduate was AMAZING.When does he graduate?  Bring tissue lol. i wish i could go back to that...when your there its hard to soak it all in because all you wanna do is hold him. Give him lots of hugs and kisses!!

Stay strong

He should graduate March 16th, but sadly as much as I want to I won't be going to his graduation. That's a very expensive trip from Texas :P

O trust me...i KNOW its expensive lol. We drove up there. His parents and i had been saving for a while to make that trip. He will get to call you though and you can talk alllllll day long =D

Yeh being able to call him often will be nice. His A school is in Pensacola, FL and that's only about 8hr-10hrs from here so I'm going to be taking a trip to go see him about 3-4weeks after he gets there:)

That's awesome! My best friend and her husband are stationed in Pensacola and its a beautiful base with lots to do. That will be lots of fun! Are you going  to live with him when he goes to his  first duty station? I think my biggest stress is that Anthony and i aren't married and if he gets stationed over seas my life will pretty much be over! (i'm being dramatic but that would suck) Have you and your sailor talked about marriage?

haha yeh i know what you mean. We before he left we literally spent every waking moment with each other for the past 2yrs. Even when we went to college we made sure we had the same courses same time. So being away for even the 2months for BC has felt like a lifetime. Oh yeh marriage has defiantly came up. We were going to do it before he left for bc which was supposed to be april 16th, but something came up and he had to leave sooner than expected. Now the plan is to do it while he is in A school.

I actually got my first call from him today and I was so excited I almost jumped outta my seat :P. He told me that his A school has been extended from 12weeks to 19th so that gives us more time to get it done :)

Definately do your best to get married in the beginning of his A school BEFORE he gets his orders! That way you can be stationed with him, because they won't change them once he gets them. Plan on his A school being even a little bit longer than that, because often times they don't begin classes immediately. There can be delays. My husband didn't start his A school until a month of being there! Your plan is a good one though! That first call is always so exciting =)

about how far in does he get his orders?
