Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi I'm from the east coast, Maine to be exact, and I don't know a single person besides my grandmother out here in Washington and she lives in Salem, oregon. I'd like to meet some other navy wives I have a one year old just curious if there are any other ladies out there with little ones looking for friends, lol I know that sounds cheesy but it can get boring just waiting for my husband to get back. Thanks!

Where abouts are you, and what do you enjoy doing? I moved to Bothell this time last year and stayed til Febuary this year. It was a bit challenging getting to know people...the "Seattle Freeze" does kinda exist! I ended up joining a local church, going to horse events (my work and my main hobby) and also joining lots of groups on Meetup.com.

Now I'm not a Navy wife-so these are all ideas kind of away from base, but still fun. Seattle is a beautiful and vibrant city-Pikes Place Market is amazing! The Cascade Mountains are stunning and the San Juan Islands are beautiful too.

And check out the little coffee sheds-waay better than Starbucks!

I live on banger navy base. I know where you are coming from. I am from South Carolina and my husband is from Vermont. I do not have any children though. I am here though if you need anything.

Hey! I live in Oak Harbor, Washington. I have lived in Washington all of my life, and I know all the things to do, places to go etc. Where are you living in Washington I may be able to help :). I am always looking for new friends, and am expecting a little one of my own soon :). If you have any questions or anything I would be glad to help you!
