While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My boyfriend is also graduating April 11th,and have A School in GL, From what i heard they will have Liberty gradation weekend (no over nights) As far as liberty when they get in A school,im not sure.Cause My bf A school is only 8 weeks.

Depending on their ship they could have duty liberty weekend in GL but my husband did not. After graduation he will have to go check into school if he is staying in GL. Could take until around 4 or 5. Then you will get to pick them up. Then the next day Saturday I could pick him up at 5am and he didt have to be back til 10pm. Each ship is diff though. As far as phases as soon as he gets there he a in phase 1 for a min of a least 4 weeks. During that time he jus always be in uniform and has to be back by 22. After 4 weeks he will get an opportunity to go to phase 2. They have to pass a written and oral exam to do to. In phase 2 they can wear civilian clothes, and sty out until 2400. Then approx 4 weeks after that they can go to phase 3. Which gets them ovenights.BUT....the weeked or two after PIR my husband was still in phase 1 and put a chit (a special request in) to stay overnight w me and it got approved. But that's depending on their command etc. Keep in mind if your visiting they have to have 2 liberty buddies to sign them out in phase 1. So if only you are visiting he has to submit a chit for only 1 person to be his liberty buddy and it's not always approved. In phase 2 it changes to 1 liberty buddy but still if you are military personnel depending on their ship they might still need a special chit for their wife/ girlfriend to be their liberty buddy.

As far as what to wear...something comfortable. There is a lot of waiting, and the benches are metal so possibly bring something to sit on. And remember things can change without notice. My husband has been in A school since Jan so the info I gave is pretty recent, but like I said few things could be different depending what ship they get assigned to.

yes he got liberty on Sunday from 0500 (5am) to 2200 (10pm) I do know that the ship right next to my husbands didn't get their liberty untill 6am and even some are 7am or later.
