So I just go the grad. date today and am already getting myself all excited. I have some questions though! I have no idea how it's all going to happen. What happens after the ceremony?? Are you allowed to have him to yourself for the rest of the night or do they have some kind of curfew. I know some girls who said they got two full days to spend with their boys after they graduated but what are you allowed to do with them?? Like anything or are there rules?? And I'd also like to know everything and anything about rules as far as PDA goes. I'm aware that during the time while you're at the Navy place you can only hold onto his left arm and only give short kisses but are those the rules for the whole time?? I'm only going to have not seen him for two months. That seems a little cruel (:

That's what the hotel is for ;). Since my hubby flys out the morning after grad were just going to spend Friday in the hotel. I don't wanna sight see I just wanna spend quality time with him :)
Ohh ohkayy (: See I wasn't sure if he'd be allowed to stay in a hotel with me. I thought maybe he'd have to go sleep somewhere else. Good to know I'll be able to have him for the night! I was worried about that.
Oh no he can't stay the night with you. But he can go back to your hotel during the day. Sorry for the confusion
It's okay. I wonder why they changed the overnight rule.
Oh and you're allowed to do pretty much whatever within the distance zone. Resturants sight see museums whatever. There's also the Navy pier.

If his A school is at Great Lakes, he will have to go over to the training side and check in, this can take several hours.  If his A school is elsewhere, there is a good chance he will have to fly out Saturday morning.

They do have a curfew, Great Lakes no longer allows them to stay out overnight on PIR weekend.  That policy changed in March.  Get him back early, even a few seconds means he could lose the rest of his liberty.  Bad enough, they can get everyone's liberty cancelled if they break the rules.

The Navy place?  You mean on base.  The rules apply to all times, in all public places.  He worked hard to earn the right to wear that uniform and represent us all.  You will find yourself being proud of him, and will be honored to be showing respect by not violating the PDA rules. But yeah, it sucks.  Don't get him in trouble, there are senior sailors all over the Great Lakes area, and even if they are not in uniform, or his boss specifically, they may correct his behavior.

Two months.  You're training for deployment.

Alrightt thanks. I definitely don't want to be getting him into trouble that's why I was asking for the rules (:

It's good to know I'll at least have all day with him even though it would've been nice to have the night as well.

Sarah! I'm glad your getting help with everything <3 yeah with Charles we got all day with him but we had to bring him back around 9 every night, and we had the whole weekend, but thats just because his A school was literally across the street.
Morgan! Weird :D See I followed your advice and went here! It has been helping alot. I come on whenever I get confusewd about something or have a bad day hah.
