Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hey Ladies. Yesterday was the day my baby left for bootcamp. It went ok until today when he called and that was the last time he can call for about 4-6 weeks tops. I can't lie, I miss him with every ounce of me but what is making me strong is knowing, I have a promise ring and NOTHING will interfere with us. The Navy will only make us stronger and i am a proud navy gf. I love him and he knows that. It was extremly hard saying goodbye. But the whole point in this post it to let any girlfriend who has to say goodbye to please just stick in there. I KNOW from the past 2 days, it is extremly hard. I still am in high school and a whole lot of people on our facebook friends know about our relationshipa and the whole Navy ordeal so there are random people who are nice to me and help out and there are some real mean people who just dont understand us. just hang in there & dont let anyone who doesnt understand what youre going through put you down because YOURE THE STRONG ONE :)
i'm here for anyone who needs me cause i am going through what you are/will go through.

Hello, LaneGF.
My husband too left for bootcamp on Monday (the 27th) and it feels like the days are dragging by and it hasn't even been a full week yet! I got to spend time with him at MEPS before he left and the phone call I got Monday night letting me know he arrived safely was a killer. Today I just received his box with his civilian clothes in it, and luckily I found a note that he wrote on the plane. I've been trying to occupy my time (hanging out with my girlfriends and going to work) but deep down I know I miss him a lot. Just thinking of all the times he has ever made me smile, and cute things he does, allows me to keep on with my day. Who knows, maybe our men will graduate the same day. We can do it. :]
Ps, keep in touch. Maybe our sailors will graduate the same day :]

My fiance left the 29th so there is a good chance we might have the same PIR date :)
